Dave in India

"We are heading upriver today to see a church planting movement in the villages near Calcutta, India that has reached 100,000 people in the last 10 years. This should be very interesting!"

That was Dave's status on FB yesterday. He's in India!

He's there with four other JV men, joining the Global Youth Initiative Forum, along with 34 leaders from 16 countries and 6 continents! They're spending this week together in India to discuss leadership multiplication and to talk about movement leadership.

They're also meeting and hearing stories from Indian believers, particularly about the church planting movement he wrote about on FB, that has resulted in a hundred thousand coming to Christ and many churches being planted.
 

Thanks to Mel Ellenwood for a few photos off of FB...they are praying for some of their Indian brothers who are at the forum in this shot. 

Today they are flying from Calcutta to New Delhi. He'll be back home late Monday night.

With a lot of stories, I'm sure!
