The Midwest's Best

It's a balmy 14 degrees tonight here in Ft. Wayne, IN where we've been the past few days. That's warm compared to what it was just a few days ago in the Chicago area...the man in line next to me at the post office said it was -14F with the windchill.

Oh Midwest winter...it is upon us!

That's ice on the road and windshield!

But the Midwest is about a lot more than just cold weather.

It's about time with dear people we love. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners and coffees - what a privilege, catching up with beloved friends here in this part of the States. So very special.
