It's My Favorite

When May rolls around each year it always takes me by surprise.

In my humble opinion, May is the best month of the year in this part of the world. I suppose it has something to do with having more than one day of sunshine in a row! :) But seriously, it's truly beautiful here each May.

Took a long walk with a friend down by the river today and was so nourished by sunshine, warm air, a tiny breeze, and the smell of flowers. I felt like I could've walked the whole day just to soak it in.

Though I can be fickle about seasons (because each one is unique and special, and I'm prone to say that the one I'm in is my favorite), there is something extra special about spring bursting on the scene with all its loveliness that makes it my favorite.
