It was "trim the hedge" and "burn the trimmings" day around here. So sorry I missed getting a photo of Dave working ten hours out there to wrangle it into shape. I couldn't have been prouder of him for getting it done just a few days before our next departure to the States.

| It doesn't look like it but the trimmed hedge is much taller than him, and he cut off at least four feet, so it was quite a job. I'm thankful he does that sort of thing! |
There were supposed to be thundershowers off and on today, but instead it was a picture perfect day.
While he worked outside, I spent most of the day inside, even though it was so beautiful out there. But with our departure on Tuesday, I needed to have a full day to get things done before we leave.
Thankfully a little companion wouldn't let me stay in the whole day. :)
No end of silly delight over this sweet dog who continually makes me laugh!
I'll miss home for the three weeks that we'll be gone. I like it here so much!
But I'm getting excited to see our Gull Lake friends a week from today!!
Give Dave my congrats on a job well done. The yard looks amazing!
