Caleb and Haley, our son and daughter-in-law, live in Fort Collins, Colorado. They have the cutest little home here, where I'm getting to stay for the first time this week-end.
I'm also meeting their dog, Sofie, for the first time!
A golden doodle with lots of personality, she's a seven month old puppy.
If you know me, you know I have a lot of affection for dogs. So I'm enjoying getting to know their sweet doggie.
Caleb and I took her for a nice long evening walk down by the Poudre River.
I loved seeing how well trained Sofie is, even at such a young age. Caleb's always had a knack for dog training, and it shows!
She's got such a sweet personality, and definitely is working hard to please her master.
And Caleb gets to enjoy having a big dog for the first time in his life!
It was ever so delightful to enjoy time with both of them down by the river.
With lots of puppy energy still left in her, the walk didn't tire Sofie at all. She was cracking me up as she hung her head out the window all the back home.
She kind of reminds me of Chewbacca from Star Wars, in the very cutest way!!
So happy to be here with Caleb, Haley and their dog!
