Good Morning Winter

As Dave and I crossed over the pass between Slovakia and Czech last night, on our way home from a conference, I had a sneaking suspicion about what we would find at home.

Sure enough, the first snow of the season!

It's been snowing off and on today, and by late this afternoon was almost covering the grass in our backyard.

The forecast says it will only snow through the night and then stop sometime tomorrow, with no more snow in the forecast as far as I can see.

So for today, I'm enjoying the first enchanting snowflakes of the season, and actually hoping we get more sometime along the way! Our winters have been so mild the past few years that I wouldn't mind some good snow now and then this coming winter season.

If we have a blizzard and get snowed in sometime this winter, you can blame it on me and my wish for snow. 😂
