Nearly Ready

All year our JV team has been working on a special project, one that will be revealed in about ten days now.

There are so many who have had a part in this project, giving of their time, energy, thoughts and talents to bring it to reality. This is yet another combination of some of those people who are helping to complete it.

The six of us headed off this morning on a road trip to work on yet another section of the project.

Six hours and numerous cups of coffee later, we arrived in Herrnhut, Germany.

Tomorrow we'll be doing some filming for the project in this town, the place that was home to a group of Moravians (from the part of Czech where we live) who God used to spark a missionary movement that spread the Gospel throughout the world.

Tonight we walked through the town, coming across these beautiful stars in windows, hanging on buildings and hung over streets.

I'd never heard of the Herrnhut star before, but learned that they've been manufactured for 160 years, and are a symbol originated by the Moravians to celebrate Advent, the season leading up to Christmas.

They are absolutely lovely and made for a magical atmosphere as we strolled through this historic town this evening!
