While he's opening up the Word for us (which is SOOOO good this year! I'll post a link later if you want to listen to his teaching on Romans), something else is going on for our JV Kids.
They are spread throughout our conference center complex, being cared for by a team of people.
Sixteen years ago a team from Scottsdale Bible came to care for our kids; and they haven't stopped coming yet!
They now come from a variety of churches in the Phoneix area, but we still call them the "Scottsdale Team". And oh how we love what they bring for our kids!
This year they creatively decorated all the rooms where the different kid's programs were taking place.
They bring books and crafts, and all sorts of other fun things.
But mostly, they bring incredible people who know and love our kids.
I never did make it into the baby care center, but heard it was equally as amazing in there. One of the ladies has been coming almost every year since the very beginning. What a blessing they are to us!
Downstairs in Malenovice, the school age program was taking place.
I came in time to hear Claire giving morning devotions with the kids, and working on their memory verse (Romans 12:1-2!) for the week.
It just thrilled my heart to see these kids putting the Word into their hearts. Very likely they'll never forget those verses!
Another team of three women are here working with these kids on a musical that they'll present on Sunday morning for all of the adults. I know they've been hard at work getting ready for that, and I can't wait to see it!
