After one last morning of sunbeams and and playtime with Charlie while his mom and dad were at a conference, we all packed up to leave Beaver Creek, Colorado.
Charlie can wave "bye bye" these days so we're saying our goodbye to pastor's conference and Nonnie time.
Not only were pastors and their wives here from around the nation, but also Juljan and Ermal, Caleb and Haley's soon-to-be teammates in Albania. What a special time for them to be brought into, and to get to spend it with Caleb and Haley.
Caleb and Haley's sending church, Mountain View, brought them over from Albania to be here at the pastor's conference, as well as spend time in Fort Collins, sharing about their ministries afterward. I'm sure it will be a special week for them.
Caleb, Haley, Charlie and I drove back down to Denver Airport where we said a sweet goodbye in the late afternoon. What a joy to have spent these days with all of them!
Believe it or not, I'll be seeing them again in just three days, though this time it will be in Chicago, which is where I'm headed now.
Had a smooth flight out of Denver, despite the rain in the distance. But upon arrival at O'Hare, sat on the runway for 45 minutes waiting to get to the gate. We literally sat in front of the very gate we eventually went into. You always wonder what's really going on when things like that happen!
I was happy to arrive and have Dave waiting to pick me up late at night!
