Favorite European City

On this day, July 6th, the commemoration of Jan Hus, (the Czech theologian burned at the stake for his faith in 1415, and who was the reformation precursor to Martin Luther) I got to climb the tower that overlooks his statue in Old Town Prague!

How have I missed going up here all these years?!

The weather and the view were absolutely spectacular today!!

I had such a delightful time with our Wyoming friends, hanging out in Prague and seeing lots of the beautiful sights in my favorite city.

Adults and kids alike had amazing energy considering that they'd just arrived from the States yesterday. We walked almost six miles today, and as you can see, they're still smiling in the late afternoon!

Energy began to wane a bit as we headed to find something for dinner.

Dad and then big brother, Cotter, carried little sister when she couldn't walk any further.

Thankfully, dinnertime perked us all up again before they headed back to where they're staying!

Just a couple of other fun photos from the day...

While walking through the Havelské tržiště, one of the oldest markets in the city that dates back to 1232, we ran across something fun: a historical photography studio! The family turned from 2018 back to the 19th Century!

The photographer didn't cut off the hats! This is just a picture of the picture!

The two people working in the studio did a fantastic job of outfitting all of them, especially going for just the right feel of each of the kids.

This couldn't have been a more perfect photo and souvenir from Prague!

Again, this is a picture of a picture...but you get the idea of how darling it is!

What a wonderful day with these dear ones, being in Prague, my favorite European city!
