When we moved to the Chicago area twenty seven years ago, for Dave to go to grad school at Wheaton College, who would have ever imagined that this city would become such a familiar sight, and a home, of sorts, in the US for us?!
Not only do we have wonderful friends and a church home here, but it's the US headquarters for Josiah Venture so we're here almost every time we come to the States.
But we said another goodbye to the Windy City today, after a wonderful visit here this past week and headed out for some more college recruitment for our JV summer internship program.
By the looks of it, you'd probably never guess that we had a plane change in Washington DC on our way to the next destination.
I think we were in the smallest terminal and gate possible here in the capital of the United States!
Today we were heading to a college that we've never visited before, in the state of South Carolina.
We landed in Columbia, SC this evening and were actually greeted at the airport by advertising for the school we'll be at tomorrow!
Formerly Columbia Bible College, we'll be on campus at CIU tomorrow, recruiting for the first time. We're kind of curious what it will be like!
They sure rolled out the "red carpet" of pretty sunsets for us this evening!
