An amazingly stunning event took place yesterday, in Washington DC, at the Museum of the Bible!!

My longtime best friend of 40 years, got engaged to the love of her life!!!!
This has been a story, long in the making, that has God's fingerprints written all over it.
Michelle and Ken met nearly nine years ago, as colleagues working in the field of strengthening father relationships with their children. Michelle's written a book (and has a new one coming out this summer) on fathers and daughters, and Ken has written multiple books such as "The 7 Secrets of Effective Fathers", and is a well known speaker across the nation.
Ken lost his wife to a long term disease that she suffered with for a number of years, leaving him, their five children, 4 of their spouses, and 12 grandchildren behind.
In God's providence, he led Ken and Michelle to each other, and now they're getting married in June!
My recent trip to Portland to see Michelle, was actually to go wedding dress shopping with her!
While they had already committed to each other for marriage, her ring hadn't been finished (Ken designed it!) so he was waiting to officially propose. And that day came yesterday, to Michelle's great surprise!
I am so overjoyed by this incredible love story, and greatly look forward to what God has in store for these two amazing people as they join their lives together in love and for His purposes!!
