Every February

One of the blessings of coming to Arizona each February for JV board meeting, is getting to visit one of our board members and his wife who live here.

Don is actually the reason why they have their February board meeting somewhere other than Chicago (which is where the other two meetings a year are held).

A number of years ago he said, "Wouldn't you all like to come to warmth and sunshine in February, rather than to cold and snow, and probable flight delays?!"

So because of that, the JV board meeting is held here every year in February! And we all do enjoy the change of location, since everyone else is coming in from true winter weather.

It also means I get to see his wife, Marcia, who has become a dear friend. We talk a mile a minute, catching up on the past year when we see each other each February!

We're thankful for all of our JV board members, who make the trek to meetings every four months, and give of their time, energy and godly perspectives to help direct the ministry of Josiah Venture.
