Tyler, Lara and the boys spent the night with us last night so were still here this morning through lunch. Claire stayed at her own home last night, but came back for lunch and to help me with a little project I'd been thinking about now that Jenna (Caleb and Haley's daughter, Charlie's sister!) has arrived.
Over a year ago when we were all together for Christmas at our house, Claire captured this photo of the boys.
It was one of those kinds of photos that made me think, "It would be fun to re-create this from time to time".
So today was the day I hoped we'd be able to!
Getting two 2-year-olds and a 4-year-old to all look at the camera at the same time is a trick!
But add baby Jenna, and it's even more unlikely that you'll get everyone looking in the same direction!
I captured this hilarious moment of us all trying to make the photo happen!
In the end, Claire got a couple of good shots that will get printed and framed one of these days!
It's just the sweetest to see Jenna in there amongst the boys!
After lunch we said goodbye to Tyler, Lara, Judah and Asher.
And had a quiet Sunday afternoon where it even snowed!
And I captured this sweet moment of Charlie playing with his beloved "Lightening McQueen" car next to Jenna!
Evening was happy and relaxed, being with Charlie for bedtime stories.
With Charlie getting a book from both Nonnie and Papa!
We're trying to live a new normal these days, staying at home with our family during this quarantine against the Coronavirus. How I thank the Lord for so much sweet, unexpected time with them.
