Our yard is sopping wet as the ground can barely soak in all the rain. Ditches are overflowing, roads are closed, and rivers are raging as it keeps on raining.
To top it off, our electricity was turned off today at 7 AM. A couple times a year notices are posted on our road that there will be repair work done on electrical lines, and today was one of those days.
I brought out our camping stove and made coffee for myself this morning!
No electricity and dark skies made for a cozy day inside. I don't actually mind a day like that...as long as the electricity comes BACK on at some point!
It was thankfully turned back on by 3 this afternoon.
